This is a story about wine, personal drive and heritage; and wine has always played an important role in the lives of the Calista family.
Our story begins in 1960, when Vincenzo Calista decided to import for the first time wines from his native land, Abruzzo to Belgium. Café “Adriatique” the place where Vincenzo’s grandson, Flavio passed the early years of his life, made a huge impact on him.
Thus, in 2012 Flavio Calista sharing his grandfather’s vision founded Vinum, a company specializing in importing Italian wines in Benelux.
After years of several partnerships and his drive to communicate quality products to the rest of the world, Calista decided to specialize in Bag-in-Box wine. Representing mostly the Italian territory for years, exporting some of the best wines that Italy offers, Calista always willing to learn and improve, expanded the company's portfolio by making new partnerships in France.
In 2021, Calista’s son, Gabriele decided to join the family business and render Vinum an international platform of reference. After a year of hard work, research and new partnerships Group Vinum was born with Gabriele at the role of Managing Director.
Innovation, preserving quality, respect for the territory and its’ historical vocation have been Group Vinum’s compass in this journey until now.
